AZIZ Dr. Fahima Aziz is the Chair and Professor of the Department of Management and Economics at Hamline University. She is also the Director of Environmental Studies and holds the Alkire Chair in International Business and Economics at Hamline. She has received several awards and among those are Hamline University’s Burton and Ruth Outstanding Teacher award, 2001, Wesley Trustee Award for Outstanding Faculty Member, 2004, Hamline University Student Congress Award for Faculty Member of the Year, 2005. Dr. Aziz is on the Board of Trustees of St. Paul Academy and Summit School. Dr. Aziz received her Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota, a M.S. in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and her B. A. in Economics from Mount Holyoke College,Massachusetts. |

TIMOTHY E. MARX Currently Commissioner of the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) and a member of Governor Tim Pawlenty’s cabinet. In his role as Commissioner of the MHFA, he manages the state’s affordable housing bank and a loan portfolio of $1.8 billion. Prior to joining the Pawlenty administration, he spent twelve years as an attorney at Briggs and Morgan. From 1994-1998, Marx was an attorney and deputy mayor/chief of staff for the city of Saint Paul. Received an undergraduate degree from St. John’s University, a Masters degree from the University of Minnesota and a law degree from the University of Minnesota. Mr. Marx resides in St. Paul. |

SUSAN HAIGH The President of Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity (TCHFH). She leads the non-profit business with a $15 million annual budget, 70 employees, 20,000 volunteers and 11,000 donors. Before coming to TCHFH, Susan was elected and served ten years as a Ramsey County Commissioner. As a Commissioner, she championed the creation of a $5 million Housing Endowment Fund to spur construction of affordable rental housing in the County. Ms. Haigh received her undergraduate degree from Macalester College with a B.A. in Political Science and holds a J.D. Degree from William Mitchell College of Law. Ms. Haigh and her family reside in St. Paul. |
