News - Regents


	Board of Regents Rick Beeson, president and CEO of Park Midway Bank in St. Paul, was elected to the University of Minnesota's board of regents on Monday, March 9. Rick graduated from the university in 1976 with a political science major, was elected to fill the Fourth Congressional District seat that had been held by David Metzen. The election was made by a state Legislature joint House and Senate session. The Legislature elects one regent from each of Minnesota's eight congressional districts, and four from the state at large. Regents serve without pay for six-year terms.
