Park Midway Bank has just become the newest member of the Hampden Park Co-op. This particular co-op became a legal cooperative in June of 1993. The co-op shelves are stocked with products that are organic, unprocessed, fresh, locally grown, healthful, and minimally packaged. Approximately 250 co-op members work as volunteers and receive discounts on purchases just by helping out in the store for a few hours a month. You can get more information about the co-op by clicking here or by calling 651-646-6686.

FRAUD TIPS –
THE “LATEST SCAM”

Internet shopping websites are now asking for the CVV number, that three-digit number on the back of your Visa or MasterCard that is just another security measure against credit card theft. Scammers, pretending to be the fraud and security department of the credit card company, have called numerous consumers at home. They have already obtained your credit card number, and now they want to verify that you are still in possession of your card by telling them the three-digit number. If you receive such a call, hang up and call the toll-free number on the back of your card. Never give out your personal information over the phone or in response to e-mail. Your credit card company will never ask you for this information because they already have it! Stay safe!

NEW BUILDING RELOCATION PLANS
Park Midway Bank is planning to move its existing main bank location at 2265 Como Avenue to a newly constructed bank building on its existing drive-through bank site (2300 Como Avenue). During 2006 the bank is working with the neighborhood, architect and bank staff to design the new facility, with construction scheduled to begin later this summer.

The new building will provide efficiencies for us with staffing and security as well as the luxury of having our own parking lot. Moving to the corner of Como and Doswell will allow us to grow in a facility that is designed specifically for a bank while still providing drive-through banking, ATM service and access to bankers - all under one roof. The Bank takes pride in its longstanding residence in the St. Anthony Park neighborhood and looks forward to many more decades of service here.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FUND UPDATE
As of the end of January 2006, the Park Midway Bank Social Responsibility Fund has grown to over $40 million to be used locally to fund redevelopment efforts. A total of 1,422 accounts have been registered for SRF Funds. We appreciate your assistance in helping us develop such a fast-growing, community-driven project. If you are interested in having your deposits specifically earmarked for reinvestment back into our community, please give one of our personal bankers a call at 651-523-7800.
